Bulwell Joint Service Centre (JSC)

The Bulwell project is the third tranche of the 2005 Strategic Services Development Plan (SSDP) which identified Bulwell in a 'long list' of potential future schemes. Bulwell JSC has now been prioritised as the next development for NCC and NCPCT. This will form a third hub in Nottingham, alongside Clifton Cornerstone in the south and the Mary Potter Centre in Hyson Green located immediately north of the city centre. The scheme offers opportunities for closer working relationships and integration and rationalization of facilites for services across the NCC and with NCPCT, Nottingham City Homes and the local youth and the voluntary sector.

Bulwell is situated four miles north of Nottingham City Centre and the sites that are being assembled by LIFTCo are within the voundary of the Council's regeneration Master plan. The project is planned to kick start the ambitious plans for the social, economic and environmental redevelopment and regeneration of Bulwell Town Centre and surrounding area.

Bulwell JSC will be the biggest development of its kind in the country and is aiming to achieve BREEAM 'excellence' through intelligent energy and construction solutions. The site also has excellent bus, train, and NET tram services providing the public and staff easy access to the centre of Nottingham as a green travel option.
