The John Ryle Health Centre on Southchurch Drive, Clifton will close at 5pm on Thursday 29 July so staff can move to new premises. The GP surgery will close to patients at 12 noon.
Patients needing an appointment with the doctor on Friday 30 July or during the weekend should telephone the usual number, 921 2970, and the deputising service will respond.
Both the health centre and the GP surgery will re-open on Monday 2 August in the temporary modular buildings between Clifton Library and the City Council Housing Office, also on Southchurch Drive.
The move is part of the Greater Nottingham LIFT project which is investing £9m in Clifton to provide a purpose-built one-stop centre accommodating a host of NHS, City Council and community services under one roof.
Samantha Day, Locality Director for City South at Nottingham City Primary Care Trust, says: “We have planned the move so there is minimum disruption to health services and ensured that patients can still access a GP on Friday and over the weekend. The one-stop centre will enable us to provide a wider range of NHS services from a modern, purpose-built building.”
