Primary care leaders in North Notts today officially launched a new website showcasing £33.5 million worth of planned health facilities.
The new site - www.nnlift.co.uk - offers a window on seven exciting projects by the North Nottinghamshire LIFT initiative - a partnership between Mansfield District Primary Care Trust (PCT), Ashfield PCT, Bassetlaw PCT, Newark and Sherwood PCT, Partnerships for Health and ExcellCare.
North Nottinghamshire LIFT, Mansfield District PCT, is providing a multi-million pound investment in primary care development in each of the PCTs' areas.
The investment will improve local health care provision, including: GPs, community nursing, community mental health services, dietetics, physiotherapy, podiatry, phlebotomy, minor surgery, older people's mental health services, occupational therapy, training, counseling, speech and language therapy, family planning, and pharmacy.

The new website provides details of the new buildings such as images, designs and photos, planned future developments, social regeneration, and latest news from the LIFT team as well as contact details and other website links to health services.
Eleri de Gilbert, Ashfield and Mansfield District PCTs' Chief Executive, said: "I'm pleased to officially launch the North Nottinghamshire LIFT Website, offering NHS staff and patients an opportunity to obtain up-to-date facts on the projects, which will provide modern health and social care services in the 21st century."
Carl Dix, General Manager of the North Notts LiftCo, said: "All schemes have full planning permission and final land negotiations are nearing conclusion. Once financial close is achieved in the new Financial Year, construction will commence on the first sites in July. The first buildings should be ready for occupation in Summer 2006 and the website will be regularly updated with the news."
